TRAILED SPRAYER KUHN METRIS AUTOSPRAY
The KUHN Metris 4102 trailed model, which is based on the Autospray technology developed by KUHN-Blanchard designers. The Metris 4102 sprayer model itself has proven itself quite confidently and is in great demand on the world market, meeting all the needs of the most demanding farmer. At the same time, one of the points of the flame shape, size and structure of droplets, regardless of the spray rate and speed of the sprayer, can be provided by Autospray technology, with the highest possible quality and only one type of sprayer, the range of which includes the desired parameters. Since the maximum effect of the working solution depends not only on the applied rate, but also on the size and structure of the droplets, the farmer only needs to choose the type of spray nozzles, and the rest will be done by the Autospray system, depending on the speed of the sprayer and the set rate in a particular area of the field.
How does it work?
- The farmer chooses the correct application rate and the exact size of the droplets;
- Accordingly, it selects only one type of spray nozzle, the parameters of which do not exceed the desired spray rate and effective droplet size at the minimum and maximum pressure in the system for its high-quality operation;
- The Autospray system in the ISOBUS application differentially controls the smart nozzle holders, strictly observing the application rate and maintaining the necessary system pressure to form the exact droplet size;
- The advantages of the AUTOSPRAY system are that, with the right nozzle, it provides a high quality spray with precise droplet size over a wide range of spray rates. In traditional systems, this would require 4-5 nozzles.
- The Autospray system controls the sequential shutdown of nozzles to avoid overlap and to work safely at the edge of the field, which ensures compliance with environmental regulations, preserves crops and reduces the cost of expensive chemicals.
